Not only is the auction fraudulent but keyword spamming is a no-no.

That's not a cheap listing either.

He revised his auction, yet "rrp" is still there, which is part of what I, er, someone reported on, I'm sure.......GGSAE wrote:http://cgi.ebay.com/BLOODSHOT-1-CHROME- ... dZViewItem

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

No-one? Well, I just want to warn everyone - he put my bagged & boarded copy of Rai #3 in a Priority Mail envelope and mailed it. To North Carolina. From MICHIGAN! No cardboard, no bubble-wrap, just toss the comic in a Priority envelope and send it on it's way...slym2none wrote:Hey, just thought I'd ask: anyone ever do business with an eBayer by the user ID of blf74? He's the one I won the Rai #3 from for cheap...

It's surprisingly not beat to hell, but it does have a nice warp/bend that I think can be straightened out with gravity and then being boxed up - but STILL!!!

I am so incredibly *SQUEE* off right now...this *SQUEE* ended FOUR of his auctions EARLY, even though I had snipe bids on ALL of them for HIGHER than the auctions ended at. I'm ESPECIALLY *SQUEE* about the Punisher auction and the Psi-Force auction.
He DID it so one person wouldn't win the "20 boxes" and get free shipping.
In the process, he screwed himself out of more money in the amount of higher bids.
I'm INCREDIBLY *SQUEE* because I WANTED those books, and there's no legitimate reason for him to have ended these.
I'm REALLY tempted to tell him to shove the rest of his auctions that I won. I don't need to do business with jerkoffs who can't abide by their own rules.
What do you all think?

Just e-mail and let him know you were interested in his auctions, and even let him know your highest bids (padded if you feel like.) Then tell him you would never do business with him now.

The Magnus 0 arrived last week from Vikes; his NM/M without a scan was really a ...... NM- 9.2!mrwoogieman wrote:YIKES -- I BOUGHT A BOOK FROM VIKES!!ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote:Yeah, well, Vikes has been dreaming for almost a decade now.tcolli wrote:Wake up Mr. Auction guy, you're dreaming.
That could be his (former) customers' motto or something.
Unfortunately, I just got sucked into his Magnus 0 w/o card for the $14.95 opening bid (no one outbid me, wonder why?). Anyway, let's have a contest to see how close it is to the advertised NM/M -- that's a 9.8 in CGC vernacular.
I'll go first: NM- 9.2.

I've gotten yet ANOTHER seller that doesn't know how to pack comics. This was my other really good deal (Solar 1-5, X-O 1, Magnus 4-7) coming from Canada this time - comics only bagged, no boards; wrapped in bubble wrap; placed in envelope and mailed.

This isn't an auction, but I didn't want to start a new thread either...
I was walking around the local mall this past weekend. A clothing store moved out recently, and in its place now are several vendors selling things like coins, sports cards, antique dishes, etc. Sort of a mini flea market. (I guess the mall is getting desperate.) One of the vendors had some non-sports trading cards. He had the Unity set for $10.00. The Valiant Era I set for $8.50. And the Marvel Universe Series 1 (1990) for the low discount bargin price of $35.50. He said he'd make me a nice deal and sell all three for $50. No chase cards. Basic sets only.

I would agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

In the interest of politeness, I'm sure you didn't laugh out loud...much....but I REALLLLY have a hard time not doing that when I run into morons like this.Heath wrote:This isn't an auction, but I didn't want to start a new thread either...

REALLLLY hard time.
Hell, his "discount" price isn't even a decent one!

I tried to be nice about it. When he told me the "special deal" he'd make me for all three, I just said, "I'll keep that in mind" and walked off.
But, as I walked off, I mentioned something to my wife about his price guide being at least 10 years out of date. I wasn't loud, but I didn't whisper either.
