Had a GREAT chat with Jimmy Jay on Sunday....
If you don't know, he's one half of the company (Jay Company) that produces the infamous 'Museum Editions' of many Top Cow (and others) books. They've been around for 8 years, and I'm sure all of you have seen their uberlimited 'of 10' and 'of 25' books floating around eBay.
I casually mentioned if he had any Valiant for sale (this was at the monthly Shrine Con in LA) and he mentioned that he's holding on to them for now.
We then had a GREAT chat about Valiant, VC.com, the 'surge' and what not. Turn's out, Jimmy knows all about VC.vom, and has been buying what he can to 'put away', which just goes to show....those 'in the know' have been doing this for years.
Of course, I also bought a boatload of variants from these guys for CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP...cause that's what they do. They are the variant masters.
Ya know, these are just classy guys, these two.
If you ever get out to LA and hit the shrine, look them up.

I picked up a TOmb Raider 'Museum Editions' at the SDCC last year in a Variant box for $1.00! I didn't realize they were so expensive until I saw a wizard guide that listed them. I think in August 03. It is really cool. The cover is heavy archive quality stock. The colors also look very bright on the pages. I would love to have them make a harbinger 1 'Museum Editions' .
