:o
I had this on watching and I couldn't believe how high it went. Is this normal or just a weird instance of 2 out of control bidders ?

I was going to bid but it went for more (barely) than I was going to bid. My limit would have been higher but I already have one of these. They are extremely rare so, yeah, it's worth it.

In the almost two years that these have been on my search radar I think there have been three listed alone and one as part of a (near?) complete Broadway lot.

Riptide Soccer sold his complete Broadway set for $300 and change I believe, which included this one the softcover tpb and the Miracle (plus all the other regular issues which are like fifty cents).

I bought mine off of board member Bosk who saw one in his LCS and was kind enough to offer to pick it up if anyone wanted one. I scraped my elbow diving for the keyboard to call dibs!

There's a certain someone who has an unsigned version of this, he knows who he is, and I'm first in line if he ever decides to sell it (so I keep saying to myself, even if he aint' listening).

I remember that. Whoever won that lot got a good deal. The HC and MOB are easily worth the $300 all by themselves. All the other issues might be worth $100 combined, if they are ALL there.
