Re-Reading: X-O Manowar #15
I thought we could do a book a day (that way people can read one every day or catch up on weekends), talk about it on its own, in the context of whats next, in regards to what expectations it creates and vote on how good it is. I don't have to be the one that posts everyday. If I miss a day or if someone wants to take over please do
For voting think of your single favourite comic book (not just VALIANT) as the benchmark - thats a 10 - and grade according to that.
Make sure to mention what you like'd about the book, what you didn't, what you wish they would have done, your favourite panels, lines of dialogue, little bits of trivia etc.

The continuation and conclusion of the "bring back Turok" story. Just as good as last issue.

Yeah! We actually get dinosaur hunting and finally see the chemistry between Aric and Turok that make their team-ups work. This is a fun issue.
Do the dinosaurs stand a chance? Nah. But you'ld never it know with the pace of the action. It feels like a hunt. Turok's vulnerability and the life of the hostage give the action nice tension. If this had been what Turok's series was like I would've lasted more than 7 issues with it.
Same compliments and complaints on the art. This ends Sear original run on X-O (which techinally was longer than his Turok run
) Sears is a good artist and it's nice to see a change of style once in awhile but, for my money, I'ld just asume have Leeke or Califore on the title.
This issue isn't particularly deep or realistic but it'd fun. This is what your typical post Shooter issue should've been like and, at it's best, they were. An 8.
Continuity Note: This storyline takes place between Turok 3 and 4 (which hadn't come out yet).

I disagree. I really like Sear's take on XO other than Randy's glasses. I have read that Sears had a difficult time meeting deadlines which probably explains his short runs.Todd Luck wrote:
