Where is the Scanning Project

Hey,

I tried following up all the links I found in the other posts regarding the scanning project but none of them worked. Is there an actve web-page where I could find this stuff?

I think that it has something to do with foldershare.com..I could not get the foldershare program to work on my computer the first time I tried so i gave up.

someone here will help you...or you might try seraching the archives for the old threads..

i got a couple of scans of Graybola on Foldershare... though I delete most of them after i read them to save space on my hard drive... but ask around, the scans are out there.

I have a lot of the scans, but I am not that computer literate. I have the foldershare program, but I do not have ftp. I have a program that lets me access other peoples ftp so I can upload, but I have no clue how to set it up so others can access my files. If anyone can recommend anything besides foldershare I will gladly use it. I would also be willing to burn it on to dvd if whoever wants it will pay for the dvd and shipping. I have :::

Also, I tend to leave people that are uploading alone at night, but I may cut it off during the day as my computer slows down too much during the day when I am uploading. I cant figure out how to lower the upload bandwidth so that everything else runs ok. If anyone has suggestions let me know.

Hey guys, I am still here, but am having serious trouble with my internet connection. I think my modem or my network card is going out and have a cable guy coming tomorrow to check it out it. I will answer any pm's tomorrow hopefully.

I got "trouble accessing file - invalid mode: wb+". Any clues?

At least I could see the contents. It looks great. From the file names I can see much of it has the same source as what's on the ftp server (just that the number format has been changed). But there are some differences. The torrent has:
Captain Johner and the Aliens 2
Ninjak 5
Visitor vs the Valiant Universe 1,2
Secrets of the Valiant Universe 1

which are not on the server. Ninjak 5 does exist on DC++, but so far it has always turned out to be V2.

The ftp server has:
PunX 01
Solar 41(new),46,50
Turok 34
Original Doctor Solar 1
Original Turok Son of Stone 1

which I don't find in the torrent.

Update: By pure luck I just managed to get hold of the missing files and some others.
