In Wizard #34, published June 1994, Starwatchers #1 is one of the Picks From the Wizard's Hat. We all know the name was changed before publication to Psi-Lords, but the article also mentions that the issue will be published in Valiant Vision, and says for those who don't have the glasses yet, "Valiant will release another special VV Starter Kit in May."

I wonder if they wrote or drew it? Yet another issue that didn't make it to print.

And somewhere in Utah, a single fan was shattered by the let down.

...that was, of course, until his LCS owner heard about this and offered to sell him the first kit for a penny.

I liked Valiant Vision....but what do I know? I'm just an old hippy who grew up with black lights & day-glo posters....

Most of the time the colors kicked *SQUEE*, without the glasses. Especially the Solar & Destroyer pages.

To look at the original colors with the glasses in mind-blowing!

There was some Valiant art that made me want to hurl, but not the VV pages....
