$26.52
Not bad for this book. After the $127.50 harbinger pink sale Im starting to think wizard has woken a few dormant fans up.

Magnus is a very important book and very hard to find!!! It used to sell for big bucks back in the day. That's a good price that you paid for it.

Brother j just sold Magnus 1-47 for around 35 bucks, I think. I really wish I had bid on that.

There was probably a reason you didn't. The coupons were missing out of most of the Magnus coupon issues. The only ones that had the coupons were #1 and #4. The #12 was in sweet condition, though so it was a pretty good deal for the winner. Thanks for mentioning my auction. I'll probably put up another run of Magnus soon, this time with coupons.

Yeah, I was happy with that price. Makes up for the 2 CGC 9.8's I sold for $140 each.

Makes this look like a real steal. Not that I was complaining, but yikes.

I guess the question becomes whether this spike in Valiant bidding (probably induced by Wizard) is a quick fad or a new trend. I wouldn't be surprised if this depends largely upon whether Wizard continues to take a renewed interest in the old issues. Inclusion in the price guide would be nice, but that's only reserved for current titles, right? That factor alone could kill this trend fast.

I dunno if its speculation or if people are willing to pay that much because they preceive it as being worth that much or more. For me its as nice a book as 1st gambit which can sell for a lot more, granted thats an xmen title, a continuing title and has the possibility of a film debut but magnus 12 has one of the most famous 1st apperances of the 90s, a precieved value of $100 or so in the 90s and im betting a much smaller print run. people would probably be willing to spend $26 whether we were all here bidding it up to that much or not i think the die hard community is just helping these books reach the upper values of what people are willing to spend.

Good to see I'm not the only one who paid through the nose for a Mag 12.

It's an easy book to find in VF, the true NM issues are what you want.

I wonder if Wizard will bring up their reccomendations for Steel Nation and Alpha & Omega/Second Death again.

Now if Dino's 10 Harbinger #0 auction had sold on ebay, that might have gotten Wizard's attention.
