I think everybody here should BOYCOTT the auction for the Shadowman #8. And pursuade anybody you see bidding on it to retract their bid.

Cuz, that's the only way I'll be able to buy it for myself... I want one of those things SO BAD!!
I would agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

I plan on bidding more, then not paying 'cause his shipping is to high.

These must be historic low prices for each book, no?

Seems way too low.

I think they were way too high before. Sucks for Joey, cause he is a standup seller, but this is getting closer to what these things should be worth. Which is around $30 or $40, IMO.

I really think they went so cheap because $$ is tight for people for the holiday, its def a buyers market right now, I was considering selling a large part of my marvel/dc collection, but id rather wait a couple months

You might be right about money being tight this year (especially with the fuel costs), but usually around the holidays it's a pretty good time to sell.

This is very true... but I hazard to guess that normally board members bid on these things and bid them up a bit. I wince to think that some may be holding off due to 'feelings' about the selling of these books. NOT opening up a can of worms here or complaining... just musing.

I think the best time to sell is right between Christmas and NY Eve if you must during the holiday season, otherwise wait till early Feb. when people are flush with tax return money.
I am selling "nothing" on ebay-yet.
