I actually have bought from Mile High - one of their brick-and-mortar stores, not online. I was on vacation out west a few years ago and hit several shops (mainly trying to finish out my Starman run). The thing I remember most is the fact that books I'd picked up earlier in the week in the same area were automatically twice as much. Their sales may get prices down okay, but I'd still keep my eyes open. Like I said, I can't speak for anything that's bought online or shipping or anything, but that was my experience.

Joey has a bunch of DF books listed this week. There are some Ultraverse and Bravura books as well.

Hello everyone,

I'm the guy who put together shooterswork.com and I noticed some of you talking about Defiant1's old Defiant and Broadway archives that he recently retired. Since I had used his sites as a starting point for my site, I felt it was only right to mirror his archives so as not to lose them.

I haven't made any changes to his pages. I simply copied them as is so dead links and other formatting issues still exist. If time permits, I will go through and fix everything, but until then:

Defiant

Any help that you might need in restoring some of this information, all you have to do is ask. I would be more than happy to assist. I would hate for a dead universe to be ummm really dead. :thumb:

Wonderful site :applause:

Welcome :thumb:

I had been asking about your site in another thread. I figured whoever it was was already a member. I guess that proves that there are still big fans out there that haven't found the site or just haven't registered.

Don't sell books to mile high either. I sent them 4 large boxes 4 months ago!!! Never heard from them. Nevered answered my emails. I finally got them on the phone they said they would check. Never....called....me....back! Called back again they said that I didn't include prices or condition, even tho the ad said not too, and it was going to take even longer. @#$%ing jerks. Oh and they are too expensive.
Just my experience

I was going to bulk out several thousand comics to them until I spoke with Will Moulton on the phone. I felt I couldn't trust their judgement, & changed my mind. They are bottomfeeders.

Welcome to the boards Jerome!---Steve

I have come across several of the Plasm collectors tins still shrinked and sealed. Any one interested in these?

Define 'Plasm collectors tins'... there are numerous versions.

I guess that depends on price but I have all the card tins that there are (well except the Mule Tin) and normally do not collect 'extras'.

The Premium and Mule (never released) are the only Defiant tins that have any real value. The Special And Splatterbowls are worth $1-$10, depending on the day and the shipping fee.

It says right on the tin what it is. Have a look and let us know :thumb:

I have seen two of the Mule tins in person. I know that they were not released but they DID get into the hands of people somehow. I will research that a bit... I would bet that VK might know a bit about this.

Doesn't CorvetteJim have pretty much all of them?

I know he has a lot of them since he frequently used them as trade bait.

I think the only way to get one of those from him is to pry them from his cold dead fingers.....

I received one from him. I traded a red bordered Plasm card and a purple bordered Plasm card for one of them. There were a couple of other things in the trade but those were the main things that each of us were after.

Showing my ignorance here... but what is so special about these cards ? I have one of the green (and I am sure common) cards but have mostly stuck with the binders/cards/tins... promos are cool but I have not put as much emphasis on these kind of items as others. Corvette Jim on the other hand... I have been to his house (and he to mine) to check out his VERY impressive Defiant collection.
