If it's legit, the Harby cover would be sweet to have.

One of my favorite covers. Looks legit to me. I expect it to go to 4 figures, or close to it.

Yes, an amazing cover! I don't have any reason to believe it's not
legit. Lapham has never really sold any of his artwork before.
Looks like that has changed. It will be interesting to see what
else comes to market.

Looks like Dino,Hillman & COMICKINGS are all taking an early stab at it. This is the first Pre-Unity cover up in a LONG time.

Dan's the high bidder now.

Compared to how long time it took before any pre-unity cover at all turned up, it's not so long ago. They just don't show up often. Maybe the recent prices help bring them out. Btw, had I been interested in this cover, I would have preferred some little indication of why this seller is selling for David Lapham.

The auctions says that he's gonna be putting up some other pieces for sale soon. You guys should make some sort of pact on who wants what to keep the price from going up too high. Since 75% of the bidders are probably regulars on this site...

Help me out with playing the eBay game:
What good does it do to throw a bid out now and NOT snipe? Don't you tip your hat early to the max that you're willing to pay?

I agree. I do not like sniping, but it is necessary. I have had way too many occations when I've been outbid because someone just had to be the high bidder, not because he/she primarily was planning to bid higher than my bid. But to guess, maybe for a high price item it can help scare off competition or it could be good in case the seller ends his auction early?
