X-O vs. who?

Post by inmyblood »

Serious geek question...

Who would be X-O's equal/match?

I pondered this the other day and I had a hard time coming up with one. All I could think of was Venom (because he has the whole alien costume thing going on). But I see no equal in that because Venom would be annihilated in 10 seconds.

X-O would use heated blasts to break through the symbiote and kill Eddie Brock. As for the death of the costume that's another one to think about.

Magneto would be an interesting fight.

I think Green Lantern could be an equal but its tough to say. The X-O Armor is capable of quite a bit but Aric isn't trained to its full potential.

well...visitor kicked his butt while taking on the whole rest of the VU-
uhm...until bloodshot punched him. Once.

of course visitor was later beaten by a guy who was a "fake" hero, and all of his powers were merely special effects...maybe he's not so tough either...

How about Jugernaut? I mean the old Jugernaut before Marvel Neutered all of their merry mutants. I'm sure X-O would win, but it would be one hell of a fight. Also, I think that Lobo would go well in a fight with Aric, as most people forget just how powerful he is because his books have a crude sense of humor to them.
Good morning.

X-O vs. Jugs, huh? The clash of those two could wipe out large metropolitan areas.

Sounds reminisent of that green guy vs. that other orange guy, doesn't it???

Yeah it does, but it would be one hell of a fight. Neither guy is the brightest bulb in the box either, and both are ego maniacal, so they about measure up in the personality and mental area. Aric has better weaponry, and I'm sure Juggernaut would have limited invulnerability, not to mention he is much bigger than Aric. I think it would be an awesome fight. :thumb:
Good morning.

Ah, but remember that Lobo lost to Wolverine, so how tough can he really be

Remember DC vs Marvel?

I wonder how long Aric's armor would stand up against Superman?

Shadowman ripped it apart with his bare hands while trippin on necromatic energy. I'm sure Sup could do the same.

I'm sure Sup COULD, but I don't think he WOULD trip on necromantic energy. He's not that kind of guy.

I'm going to throw a curve ball and say... what about Darkhawk?
Another kid gifted with a crazy powerful alien armor, he might give XO a good fight... and if that didn't work Chris Powell could just whine XO to death... he was good at that. :thumb:

I say the Archie gang. They did pretty good against The Punisher, didn't they?
I would agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

I think ol' Chuck should change the name to Mile High Prices.

He needs to stick to his pottery collection and leave comic pricing to people from the real world.

batman would be an interesting opponent, as would spider-man.

i'd love to see x-o vs. the hulk but the all time ultimate would be x-o against silver surfer. talk about a clash of ego's.

dialogue would be upon these lines...
aric : i've felled empires 'neath my heel, you are simply a shiny man with a surfboard. prepare to taste fear outworlder!

silver surfer : i who possess the power cosmic will not be cowed by a simple barbarian with a crude tool. you will know the full power of the silver surfer this day!

jesus, on second thought scratch that whole idea...i want to *SQUEE* slap the both of them and the book doesn't even exist.

OK. Here's my take on Darkhawk vs. X-O. Darkhawk would get his butt wooped. Now here's a twist on it. Darkhawk would have a chance of defeating X-O if he would team up with Sleepwalker and Ravage (of 2099 fame).
