isn't that directly against e-bay policy???...or is he skirting the issue by calling it a "handling fee"

Nah I dont think that it is against the rules as long as it is listed in the description. You can charge handling fees. Now if he had said that ne needed to receover the Paypal and ebay fees then that would be against the rules...atleast I think so...

Yes it is the one that did not sell, I also listed the Rai VVSS and it did not sell, I'm going to relist both @ $0.99 to start, but thought I would put it here first in case anyone was looking for these issues.
The handling fee for paypal I have seen others use as well, and if that isnt acceptable then no bids, as is the case in the auction. I think I listed it at a price that would be over $7.99 anyways, so that should have had a bearing on it. at least I am being honest about it, and not nailing any hidden fees or anything. Really, both those books would probably hit $3.99 in bids anyways right? with $4.00 shipping, that = $7.99 right there.
