Dude, I opened this thread with the morbid curiosity about this, truly hoping it went the way it did.

Thanks for not letting me down. :hope:

Good one :thumb:

Yet there are still people that think he is great and buy his stuff.

How dumb does one need to be?

I hate to break it to you, but that was written by Mark Millar, not Liefeld.

The only thing that made Rob a house hold name was his Levis 501 commercial. This guy sucks.

Does anyone remember the "Rob Liefeld House of Worship" site?

I looked for it but it must not be up anymore.

I had dropped New Mutants after a while, it sucked. But danged if I didn't start buying it again when NM 87 came out and I think that from that point through the first dozen X-Force issues, that Rob Liefeld hit his creative peak. And I liked it. I liked it enough to spend my cash on it.

I thought Cable was a cool character for a while there, and Deadpool wasn't a favorite but he wasn't completely uninteresting either.

And I'm not ashamed either, really.

I think there should've been a number 11 on the list..."He'll give bored fan boys with too much time on their hands someone to insult." :)

Anyone else notice the misspelling of "you're".

And we thought comics were supposed to TEACH kids how to spell, not ruin their spelling ability.

"Your (sic) wasting your time...."

I wish I knew why this is such a difficult concept for people.

Hey, They're Mutants. They dont have wrists, Godly white teeth, and no thumbs ( just 5 fingers). They also cant store fat on their bodies. Hence the reason for clenching the teeth all the time. They are holding it.
but the best part is that they live in a world of no backgrounds.
Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try.

That was great, well worth the time it took to read!

My favourite quote of the website author's, in reference to one of the pics?

"I want to die."

There's just something about Rob's penciling that's hard to explain...his art just does not work for comics.

I will give him credit though. He brought on a whole new dimension to penciling. Too bad it sucked. :P

Sorry, I have no fancy explanation for my feelings. I just have a LOVE
for classic comic art! (pretty much all of it before the 90's)
