Thoughts and Images

Comic universes no longer active, Bravura, Continuity, CrossGen, Future, Malibu, Ultraverse... and others that are 'no longer with us' today (or only recently brought back).

Thoughts and Images published a series called Albedo Anthropomorphics. You might know them as the 1st appearances of Stan Sakai's Usagi Yojimbo.

What do you all know about these books and the company? Since finding the TMNT #3 variant, I'm branching out. :D

:o WOW, that auction is going to bring in some big bucks for just the Albedo #2 alone. #1 isn't an easy book to find, either. Who knew there were so many Usagi Yojimbo fans?

the funny thing is if you look in the eBay store section, there are THREE CGC graded copies of Albedo #2 for sale, none under $1,000. Is this book really as rare as it's made out to be?

Reported print run of 2,000 copies (source: My Comic Shop). No reprints.

Compare that to: TMNT 1st print for #1's print run of 3,000 copies. Not counting reprints. It is good that Usaki crosses into the TMNT universe.

I think there are a lot fans and a lot of "fur-verts" out there. (Think CSI episode with the plushies and furries people.)
