I know there's already old threads on this but I can't find any of them. This was an incredible high quality line of comics :thumb: . Though I liked all the concepts and character, I didn't care for the execution on their few team books (Blood Syndicate, ect). But all the solo titles (Icon, Xombi, Hardware, Static, ect) they had were just amazing! Original, thought provoking, intrigueing, high action stuff easily on par with Shooter's Universes in the 90's (heck, Janet Jackson even helped them develop their original color processing :) ). I don't see Milestones too often in back issue bins any more but if you find them, get them!

Especially the last few issues. I think the print runs on these were around the same as VH2 titles like Armorines.

I think this is another example of why it's actually worse for a universe to be an imprint than be published by it's own company. I've gotten the impression over the last few years that if DC would've let them, the guys behind Milestone would've gladly went elsewhere with the characters and we'ld be seeing some comics out of them.

They seems happy publishing every character under the sun but these guys. We couldn't even get more than four Milestone issues out of DC when Static had it's own cartoon for 3 years! Now Milestone's sole purpose seems to be bulstering DC's character count so it'll look better to investors and advertisers. Sad.
