Question from New Member

Post by epowe10097 »

hello. i was a long time Valiant collector and just recently came across this site. I believe what attracted me to Valiant at the time was the close continuity within the universe. something marvel and dc seemed to move away from quite frequently. i do have a question though. i know i remember valiant listing their "rarest" comics somewhere around the mid-90s or so. i looked back through some older valiant books in the back on the "valiant bullentin board" and in the issues of the valiant voice i still have (8-19. not easy keeping newspapers all these years). however, i still can not find what i am talking about. can any of you help me? point me in the right direction? if i remember correctly rai # 3 ended up being the rarest valiant book at the time (i believe that may not have included variants) but for some reason i remember the print run being much lower that waht this site has listed. is my memory that faulty? thanks for any help. eddie

It was in the Valiant Voices, not sure what numbers though. I think they counted down over 3 issues. Greg has scans of all of them on the site so you should be able to find it.

Welcome to the site. Keep looking and you will find posts about pretty much anything having to do with Valiant of yesterday all the way to today. This site is a plethora of comic wisdom and knowledge, and alot of silly BS too, please enjoy.
Good morning.

i used to love it a few years ago when many of us were checking out the site for the first time, and nearly everyone was telling greg that the site was incomplete because it was missing something special that we found...and the greg or someone else would provide the link to it...

i don't think i ever found anything that wasn't on here already...not even my copy of "imp-unity" the spoof comic.
