Do the Magic issues have any appeal?

An LCS just put out two long boxes of Magic issues for $1 a piece. Are any of them at all valuable or worthwhile?

I doubt they have much resale value (even the cards they were packaged with don't go for much on Ebay) but I did enjoy the first miniseries (Shadow Mage or something) they came up with and it's sequal (Wayfayer). Good art, solid easy-to-follow story with interesting characters and rocking action.

The others, Ice Age and Antiquites, left me cold (no pun intended). I found them kinda boring but I was never into the card game. Maybe if I had known more about the Magic backstory I would've have found the stories more interesting (they read like stories published just to fill in continuity gaps to me).
