Valiant "What If?" - featuring one of our own...

Post by greg »

As posted in the "Events - Comic Conventions" category,
from the Thursday, July 14, 2005 installment of my San Diego journal.

-------------------------------
Time: Approximately 8:00pm
"We walked the few blocks to the hotel and along the way encountered zombies.
That's right, there were at least three zombies standing on a sidewalk
"recruiting" for the mid-July Haunted House located downtown and open
for business (at $10.99 per person). While I would say most of us in the group
were aware of the somewhat convincing actors on the sidewalk, Dino did not
notice that a zombie was right next to him until he looked directly into
his face from only a couple inches away. I guess he could tell someone
was a little too close, but didn't expect an undead. The rest of us were quite amused."
-------------------------------

Shortly after we were clear of the zombies, Dino seemed to come to grips
with the fact that he had been startled humorously by a zombie. At which point,
he turned to me and said something to the effect of:
"I hope we walk back by those guys later, because I'll just go off and
those zombies won't even know what hit them."

Unfortunately, I was unable to get a photo of the zombies
on the sidewalk that night, though I've obtained this photo of Dino
that was taken shortly thereafter.

VALIANT - "What If?"

What if we HAD walked back by those zombies that night in San Diego?
What if Dino had been able to show us all that that he would teach those zombies a lesson?

I've run this scenario through a computer simulation and produced the following:

Dino, Zombie Fighter

Actually, dino's about the only person involved with VALIANT that I know of right now.
I am selling "nothing" on ebay-yet.

Hmm....so is Dino gonna make himself a new character for the Valiant Universe?

Valiant presents... Dino - Zombie Slayer

Maybe this could be the new flagship title.

**evil bump**
What is evil? Some say it is the exact opposite of good. So what is good? Some say pickles are good. If that's true, I'll take evil, because evil is the exact opposite of pickles. Yuck.
