X-O Mattowar's custom X-O figure is awesome. I love it.
After seeing his, I was inspired to share a few of mine. Hope you like them.

And don't forget the custom Legos!

No, it was made from a Wetworks Dane figure. Here's a link:

i think the best figures(to play with and such) were the 3 inch gijoe figures from the 80s/early 90s. i still have a bunch of them, many with missing limbs. i always wished comic companies would make their characters into figurines in that style. hmm, maybe i should paint up my gi joes. that would be sweet. what paint is best to use.

You can use car-model paint. Most colors come in glossy or flat. I think flat looks a little better on the action figures because the glossy is just a little too shiny.
The only problem with this paint is that it will wear off at the joints. If you move the figures arms or legs, then the paint will eventually go and you'll start to see the original color of the figure underneath.
However, if you don't move them at all, the model paint works fine.
Does anyone else know about other paints?

After getting sick and tired of priming, drying and repeated application of Testor (TM) paints, I switched to latex acrylic (dries WAY quicker, cleans up much easier) and then seal with a matte clear coat. Same probs with the joints, which is why mine used to sit immobile on a shelf and are now in the crawl space somewhere.bribri wrote:However, if you don't move them at all, the model paint works fine.
