I would buy anything about these characters, sadly.

Post-Birthquake Keys comic haul

Just picked these up, filling some gaps in my collection. These are keys in the sense that they have some important events and world building for late-era Vh1.

I've read them digitally but it's much better to have actual copies and I'll enjoy re-reading them over the holidays :thumb:

Any other issues that you guys consider post-BQ keys?

I would add some of the late issues of Turok that deal with Lizard Merlin, the last 3 issues of Shadowman and the last 3 issues of X-O as essential late-era Vh1 lore.

Good things.
:atomic: Comics are like a Rorschach test, everyone has a different opinion on what they are and can be... :atomic:

Thanks guys. Forgot that I also picked up an old Frost collection, which could be considered part of the 'pre-Valiant' Vh1 canon due to the characters' appearance in Bloodshot.

I like VanHook's art in this. Has a bit of a Gulacy feel.

I didn't know that Roger McKenzie was involved with Frost and VanHook. Its an interesting connection because McKenzie was also the writer for the last issues of Whitman(GK) Doctor Solar for the short-lived early 80s revival of Solar and Magnus.

James Perham (RIP) was also involved. :thumb:

:thumb: Thanks. The more I've looked back on post-Unity over the last few years, it seems to me that VanHook was second banana to Layton and had as much to do with overall direction of post-Unity as anyone.
