Red Birthday Balloons - Year produced?

Post by nycjadie »

I have a sealed bag of red Valiant birthday balloons. Does anyone know the year these were produced? I'm guessing 1999.

Much appreciated and thanks!

I would buy anything about these characters, sadly.

Got any pics? Why 1999? That would be a weird year to have a bunch of promo items since they were on their last leg :hm:

:hm: It's the post-Unity logo. They stopped using the compass logo around Birthquake, using the big 'V' instead. So my guess is between '93 and '95.

See if you can spot any at Layton's B-day party in Sept. 1993  :

They were probably for VALIANT's anniversary far more so than for an individual's actual birthday.

i'd suggest going through the editorials in your VH-1 comics to look for pictures of any VALIANT anniversary parties. I bet if you find any you might see those balloons.

I want to say 1994, because Valiant celebrated its 3rd anniversary with a VHS video, etc.
