Misprints

Post by magnusr »

Thought of misprints because of a remark on Facebook so I gave the topic a general subject.
Kevin VanHook on Facebook wrote:Printed a million copies and didn’t have a copyright notice on it. Had to reprint.
This was about Adventures of The O.

Has anyone ever seen a copy without copyright notice or should we assume they were all destroyed?

That’s bananas. I’ll have to check. A notice could be in a number of places.

In mine it's at the bottom of the first page.

I have a full box of the Cheesasaurus books in a special decorative box. I suspect it came from Kraft as I bought it from an estate of a collector of food items. If there was a chance of seeing one without a copyright, that might be it. They all have the copyright notice.

Thanks for checking. It does seem hopeless to try to find one without the notice.

Your box sounds like a cool item.
