Need advice on selling VEI runs and oddities
I looked through the stickied posts, but didn't find the answers I was looking for, so hopefully this is the right way to ask.
I'm in the process of consolidating, and I have a large number of VEI comics that I'm looking to sell. Quite a few of them are full runs, or at least contiguous runs. I also have some weird rare promo/ashcan items as well. I've spent quite some time looking through ebay for sold listings, and although I can find some single issues here and there, I'm having a really hard time finding enough auctions to find out what is an appropriate amount to sell these for. I'm not looking to make a lot of money, but it would be nice to recoup some of the cost and not get swindled. Some of the weirder items like sketchbooks don't even show up on ebay.
So the two questions I have are:
1) Can someone point me in the right direction to finding a reasonable way to price these?
2)Do people prefer that I list them on my eBay account, or do people prefer to do the transactions via Paypal using this forum as the means of communication? I sold many things on this site years ago directly using the forum, but I'm not sure if the preferred method has changed, as I haven't been doing transactions on this site since pre-pandemic.
Thanks for the help.

Forgive the simplicity of my response - have you checked the price guide? http://www.valiantpriceguide.com/guide
If nothing else, this is a good starting point.

Re: Need advice on selling VEI runs and oddities
Yeah, I have, but usually Lots sell for less per issue. Its a convenience to me the seller, so I was anticipating selling things at under value. For instance, most (if not all) of the bloodshot comics are worth $4 each. I have a 19 issue lot. I would not expect to get $76 for it. Would it be unreasonable to expect $50.

$50 would seem high to me but I am very out of touch with current backissue prices. I haven’t done much backissue buying since shortly before VEI began publishing.

These items are best sold on eBay. Expect to get about half the cover price on average. If you have limited variants, which I don’t see on your list, you might get more than cover price.
