MASSIVE Valiant news
I got to meet an ex-alien employee who lets just say has a reputation for denying things that they know full well are true and learned to very interesting things
1. DMG forces the alien employees to deny things that are happening to keep fans in the dark. Not say no comment. lie.
2. DMG are so screwed they went back to Dinesh and begged up to come back. They "quote" 'parked the money truck in front of him'
I'm told he said no.
But... there is still some talks still about some limited project that he is considering doing to help the characters and universe find its footing. A long as DMG can stay out of it. He is potentially willing to do one thing to help Valiant not circle the drain.
Everyone will deny this but I will just say that time will tell and i will probably be proved right once again.

Red Alert!!1! 911!
Your sources have about a 1 in 6 record. I won’t hold my breath but maybe you have something here.
Did you hear anything about those counterfeit purple Solar 1s?

Tough to believe all of that even in the corrupt comics industry. Assuming all true, I wonder how "finding its footing" would look with Dinesh.
The whole Resurgence thing is so they can help the characters and find the footing to move forward. And they'd do it all again in less than 2 years?

Re: MASSIVE Valiant news
Okay.
I'll believe it if there are other corroborating sources, until then it doesn't ring true to me, simply because it appears clear that DMG is interested in movie-level money, not small comics publisher-level money, and if they are in financial trouble, comics money won't right that ship. I say that because they have chosen to license out rather than rebuild as a publisher.
Now, if SONY or Paramount's options were due to expire, then I could see DMG wanting a big shot in the arm to try and attract new options, but superhero movies have been in a tough market since the pandemic.

VEI - I look forward to you one day publishing MORE than 9-10 books per month

Re: MASSIVE Valiant news
I doubt DMG have got a ‘money truck’ to put into Valiant comics at this point. And for what purpose? What’s the best that can happen?
Also, why would Dinesh save DMG? Best thing for Dinesh would be for DMG to sell Valiant back to him dirt cheap.
Even if Dinesh get involved (big IF), even he couldn’t resurrect Valiant in the short term. He’s need a couple of years to generate excitement again.
So whilst I wish this was true, I’m struggling to believe it.
