It's funny, just yesterday I was wondering what Alien/VALIANT could do that would be comparable to the largest comic book panel split across the first 10 issues of Solar Man of The Atom and then reprinted as a poster in the trade paperback.
This comes close to that.

- Especially "dude." And "balls." Those terms work in the tech industry.

It's fun. I'm not sure I would have gotten the reference without seeing them all together. The coloring is very different.

That's pretty neat. Nice to see that Shadowman is tying in with Resurgence too.

These covers led me back here after years to learn when Flamingo came back, as I have only been reading Shadowman over the past few years. While homages are cheesy gimmicks, this one is actually leading me to buy more comics because I really liked her.

Maybe its just me but this is one of those creatively bankrupt ideas that Alien seems to be full of. Remember when Valiant would pioneer ideas like the gold logo books, chromium etc. And then VEI doubled down on new ideas like the cgc covers, cat covers, starting that whole 8 bit cover craze. If you're going to do variants you should at least use them as a way to be innovative.

On a whim I decided to look up when the last time someone did an X-Men #1 homage thinking it would be pretty recently and lol check this out:

Announced the very same day Alien announced theirs. Such an obvious and tired idea...
