VH 1
I think any chance of a VH 1 revival in any sort of continuing format reached its cut-off point in 2020 with the death of Archer.
At that point, there really is no reason to bring back VH 1 in any form of continuing basis.
Doing The End-type one-shots and minis set prior to 2020 (and 2028 to show the death of Bloodshot) would be great to button the universe, but past that there really is nothing that can be done to expand the narrative since those are the literal ends of the VH 1 incarnations of these characters.

It's an interesting point. But VH1 was still valid after 2020 and 2028 so there should be good stories even without those characters. Unfortunately there are many other reasons not to bring back VH1 on a continuing basis.ManofTheAtom wrote: Tue Jun 04, 2024 10:50 pm I think any chance of a VH 1 revival in any sort of continuing format reached its cut-off point in 2020 with the death of Archer.

Re: VH 1
Yeah, but absent those dead characters there's not much worth doing. After 2020 you're essentially left with just Bloodshot, X-O Manowar, Geoff, and, maybe Peter.magnusr wrote: Wed Jun 05, 2024 2:35 pmIt's an interesting point. Expanding from there would require introducing new characters. That effort and expense would be better used expanding VEI.

Yeah, that's what it comes down to.ManofTheAtom wrote: Wed Jun 05, 2024 3:33 pm Expanding from there would require introducing new characters. That effort and expense would be better used expanding VEI.

Re: VH 1
Magnus and Turok aside, sure, those could be used to tell more stories in that setting, but it wouldn't really be the same.jrewing wrote: Sat Jun 08, 2024 6:45 am What about 4001 and beyond? Magnus/Torque/Rai/Turok’s Amazon tribe/the Imortal family to name a few
