So, Deathmate Jade
In the recent post about Deathmate, I asked if Deathmate Epilogue really did look Jade (or some other shade of dark green), or if it was a trick of the light in photos, or if some of the epilogues were Jade, or maybe it was age?
I'm still really curious to know the answer.
Deathmate Jade is my own nomenclature used to keep the Deathmates distinguished.

I've been looking everywhere for the ultra-rare Turok vs Blister issue. Anybody able to help me out?

I haven’t dug the issues out in a while but as I recall, it was silver. Both the Prologue and Epilogue were silver.
Am I right in remembering the Deathmate White had no interior pages? Just a cover? Or was it a misprint? Oh, things I haven’t thought about in nearly ten years.

Apparently, according to an old thread, Deathmate White was/is a catch-all term for all of the aboveChiclo wrote: Sun Nov 12, 2023 7:16 pm I haven’t dug the issues out in a while but as I recall, it was silver. Both the Prologue and Epilogue were silver.

A little greenish, right? Or trick of the light? Or age?

Trick of the light. In person, that cover is silver. Not quite a mirror finish but it is silver.
That being said, printing errors may be out there, as well as age and improper storage, there might be one or more out there that look a little jade. It would surprise me to see such an example, there are other colours I’d anticipate before a greenish tint, but a 30 year old book with a print run in the hundreds of thousands (greg’s numbers put the Prologue at 900K and Epilogue at 450K), many unanticipated variations are possible. IDIC; infinite diversity in infinite combinations.
