I’ve been to about the last 25 or so but last year was such a monumental *SQUEE* show (roads were all jammed hours before the show and then all the parking lots closed) that I think I am going to just skip it this year. I would have got a hotel but they never released the good hotels in the convention block.

I saw Jim Shooter. He's a grouchy fella. I didn't realize he would be here, so I had to buy a Solar #1 at a booth (it's a pretty good grade I think) to get signed. He wasn't very talkative, but it was nice, nonetheless. I forgot to ask him about counterfeit Valiants. Missed opportunity.
