Alien has started hiring writers and artists. Mostly original Valiant creators from the 90s. They have also met with Dinesh. The owner of my LCS was at one of these meetings with several other people and said Dinesh introduced them to an editor for them to hire (he didn't catch her name) and some creators who were their including Frank Miller, again he was suggesting they work with them. He said Alien and Dinesh talked Valiant for a little while but that they spent most of the time talking about something else Dinesh was working with them on. He only knew that other thing involved Joshua Dysart and Robert Venditti because both those names came up and he remembered since he's friends with both of them.

Me too. Which is why im posting. In case anyone has any thoughts that i havent thought about. always fun to discuss even if its not true. in my experience these types of things are always based in some fact. rumors dont come out of nonwhere.

But we don't have to when we have two people from VALIANT/Alien telling us what's up.

Ward is telling you that she is the one that speaks to retailers and that she hasn't told anyone anything that you are reporting.

Clearly, you mistrust her as a source, likely because you feel burned by DMG.

My suggestion to you is that instead of continuing to post more of these unconfirmed reports you wait and see whether or not they were right or whether or not they were wrong.

Honestly, bringing Frank Miller into this automatically makes the whole thing questionable. He literally has no horse in this race. His connection to VALIANT boils down to a few covers three decades ago. And not only does he have his own comic book projects going on, but would not be a draw to get people to read VALIANT. And I think he has health issues too, no?
