Secret Weapons #9 cover at Heritage
This is currently up at Heritage Auctions.

They listed it as an unpublished cover to EW #5 by Joe St. Pierre with inks by John Dixon. Looks like Bob Layton actually inked it. His name is on the piece and in the credits. Perhaps they will update and correct the listing. I wonder if this was originally intended for Eternal Warrior #5 (which also featured Bloodshot) or just a mix-up. Either way, it's always interesting when original Valiant covers turn up.

Yeah they must be using the EW #5 connection as a way to get more attention for the cover or they're genuinely mistaken. It's clearly not an unused cover from EW 5. The 'jumpsuit' EW wasn't designed until later, and there's no ninja dudes in EW 5. I can’t keep up on prices of Valiant cover art. This sold at $2280. Last year, I bought the cover for issue 10 for $500. Admittedly, this is the more dynamic cover!
