So, is Gregg-K a pun on Ninja-K?Gregg-K wrote: Wed Mar 22, 2023 12:29 pm X-O has finally returned. I look forward to reading all of your reviews.
I've been looking everywhere for the ultra-rare Turok vs Blister issue. Anybody able to help me out?

I'm a bit disappointed that we have another story of our out-of-time-Visigoth being off-Earth because that means there's little point in him being an out-of-time-Visigoth. That said, the story is somewhat interesting and I'm willing to see where it goes. The artwork... It's not for me. Plenty of individual panels are very nice (some are far too muddy), but it's not very good sequential storytelling. It mostly looks like someone storyboarding with a bunch of Magic the Gathering cards.

Swiftmann kinda summed it up for me. I am not sure why he's left earth again. I'm not sure it matters.
I'm kinda just buying issues, and wondering which one will be the last before they just stop one day, likely without even a goodbye.

I thought the issue was awesome! I've always been a X-O fan and can't wait to pick up #2. Hopefully more people get on board and this company can grow.

Art was good although I don’t like the armour re-design, didn’t they just re-design during the disastrous Hallum run? Visually the witch character looked good.
Story wise, my fears of CloonRad seem to be coming true. Clunky dialogue, lack of understanding of Aric as a character and continuing this tedious non-stop chit chat between the armour and Aric. The basic premise seemed ok but why crowbar the Roman angle into a story of far off Aliens?
Why invest in a top notch artist then put C level writers on the book?
3/5 - Underwhelming start but readable. Luckily the previous series was that bad then anything following seems like a step up.
