I’ll be happy if it get it … my expectations are pretty low these days.

Re: ETERNAL WARRIOR: SCORCHED EARTH
The fact that X-O was just cancelled does not look good. A&A was cancelled. I know they stated the book is essentially done. I wonder if this might be the last book they put out as Valiant as we know it.

Re: ETERNAL WARRIOR: SCORCHED EARTH
Apparently Valiant have said XO isn’t cancelled and is still coming out in March
Here’s the blurb from Twitter
Seems there’s been some confusion. X-O MANOWAR UNCONQUERED is NOT canceled! It’s merely been resolicited because it was moved to a March release. Make sure your store puts the preorder in again because trust me, you won’t want to miss this book!

Anyone have an updated ship date for this already late phantom project?

Re: ETERNAL WARRIOR: SCORCHED EARTH
Are any of you guys from New York?
Is there someone here who can look into filing a lawsuit against Valiant for return of the Kickstarter funders' money? The company shouldn't be allowed to get away with taking $55 grand from consumers and failing to deliver a product, that is literally criminal.
Do it myself, but it'd be fairly difficult to follow through considering I live in the UK

You don't actually understand the potential risk of using Kickstarter, do you?

Re: ETERNAL WARRIOR: SCORCHED EARTH
What our friend here is saying is that Kickstarters are not guaranteed to deliver. This is a risk and you have to click a box every time you back a kickstarter saying that you might not get your promised rewards. It has happened to me a couple of times, once the lady returned my money, once it did not.
I am not giving up - Valiant may still come through late. But I am a bit optimistic like that.

I still think it's coming.
Maybe this activity here will spur a new update from valiant on the Kickstarter site.

Re: ETERNAL WARRIOR: SCORCHED EARTH
I have backed several kickstarter comics over the past year, and many have been delayed long periods. This isn’t entirely unheard of, but most of the creators keep their backers updated on the reasons. Global paper shortage, lack of available printers, and many medical situations for the creative team members (some COVID related, some not) are pretty consistent reasons given. While DMG VEI isn’t producing much on a monthly basis, they are still producing. I think this will ultimately get made. How long that takes is another story.

Like I said on Facebook, the tl;dr on that is:
Book is still unknown "months" away, digital copies will come sooner than that.

Re: ETERNAL WARRIOR: SCORCHED EARTH
Final touches were also announced in November, I thought.
I totally get delays, but it seems the length of time to bring this to print is longer than floppies.

Genuinely surprised this actually came out, I figured they had blown all the KS money on the failed NFT BS.

Re: ETERNAL WARRIOR: SCORCHED EARTH
Got mine as well. Just downloaded and flipped through. I may wait until the physical book arrives to read. (NBD for me since my to-read pile is massive and perpetually growing.) But the art seems solid, and I'm excited to see some other major characters featured in the book.
Also, from my experience, the project is barely late by typical Kickstarter standards. If the physical copy ends up being a year or more late, then I'll be irked. Right now they are kinda in the average delivery window and it's just the communication that's been lacking. (Still woulda been nice to see this run on time with good communication so they could build up Kickstarter as an avenue for more Valiant publishing. Maybe that's still salvageable if they finish strong with the delivery of the phsyical copies and add-ons.)

Wow. Just read through this thread. You are some patient MFers.
Glad it finally released. Not sure why it would take almost 2 months from "we have a digital copy to send you" to actually sending it, but it looks like you guys finally got it.
