That’s definitely not cool. I had a package go missing. They claimed it was delivered and there was nothing they could do. I called Amex and they refunded me. I ordered again, but wasn’t inspired by the lack of interest in taking care of me.

I am glad you put it on AMEX. They usually make good in these situations.

The same thing happened to me a year ago with a package “gone missing.” My “Ring Doorbell Camera” proved that it was not delivered to my house when the carrier claimed it was delivered. 3 weeks later someone from a neighboring street brought it to me (it was delivered to their house by mistake).

Several years ago I preordered the Valiant chibi statues put out by Silver Fox. I paid on Visa and they never produced them nor gave me a refund. My credit card number was also compromised so they cancelled it and gave me a new one. Silver fox never refunded me despite many attempts.

A few years later, Silver Fox (or whatever they are now calling the company) started auctioning off the Valiant prototypes they produced. I won and or negotiated the purchase of 3. I received 2, taking six months to receive them. The 3rd never came, so I asked Amex for a refund, which they gave me 6+ months after the fact. Silver fox finally responded to my many emails asking what we could do with the difference between what I received and what I didn't. I said I'm fine paying for what I received, but that wasn't an option with Amex to do a partial refund and there is the matter to discuss with the chibi order that you never refunded me for.

He never responded after that. Anyway, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose, but generally I'm Even Steven.

I saw those Chibi''s from Silverfox and was pretty close to ordering some. But i did a little research on them and theres was nothing but bad reviews from people who had ordered and paid for goods but never received them. I think they also did a Bloodshot statue. They seemed to be a scam so i avoided them.

I'm glad you did receive some of them, even if it took a while.

CGC had a mishap with the handling of the signature series graded CGC Bloodshot #10 comics causing damage. So, apparently they had to be resent, pressed, and regraded…. and that is why there were few 9.8s of the signature series. Anyway, that explains the lower than stellar grades.
