Deathmate White prologue promo giveaway cover
Figured I'd share my newest addition to my Valiant collection. This slab is special to me and I'm glad to have it in my collection signed by Jim Lee CGCSS.

Very cool, it certainly will be well protected in that slab!

That's awesome! Love these. They've become surprisingly hard to find. Congrats!

- Especially "dude." And "balls." Those terms work in the tech industry.

Awesome slab!
That’s bananas. I’ve submitted them in the past and they return them to me. Did you put something on the request?

Re: Deathmate White prologue promo giveaway cover
I submitted it SS because that's the only way I knew to get it slabbed. They accept prints, photos and covers like mine for signing and encapsulating.

Re: Deathmate White prologue promo giveaway cover
Any reason why they note it as silver and not white?

Re: Deathmate White prologue promo giveaway cover
That's a good question which I wondered myself. I guess it is because they have listed the other Qualified white covers the same. However, these were deliberate and given away as a promo cover at the Cons.

Re: Deathmate White prologue promo giveaway cover
The book details on the label are pulled from a database. CGC only has one listing for Deathmate Prologue and the database description mentions the silver foil cover.
It would have been helpful if they had noted the missing silver foil, but the area for that kind of note already states "Jim Lee" and "Cover only".
So far, CGC has not reported single page and cover only encapsulations in the CGC Census so it's hard to get any counts. Very cool, though!
