Maybe I'm dumb, but where are you getting this information about March+? The link only shows February solicitations.

Unless they will increase the books/month ratio this is very likely to happen.

Has there been any definitive word on if Rai is done? I hope they're just taking a break like they did with the Kindt series, to let the team catch up, but I suspect it's probably finished. Maybe they will continue it via a new mini-series and/or event. I'll be sad if it's truly done.

Re: Valiant Solicitations February 2021 and Beyond
I think this is just the point they needed to stop. The artists on their books left when they did the “pencils down” and let them all go do other projects. Some are much messier than others, although I commend the artists on their professionalism during this troubled period. At 2 books (or so) a month I don’t think they are rushing to replace teams. I am sure the longer this drags on (the pandemic) the harder it has to be on them. I have heard it said that they are loving working from home, but I am sure it is still a struggle. I mean they have a new movie coming out and they are still getting their new headquarters finished so that’s got to be very stressful. That would help explain the 3 senior editors to publish 2 books a month. Most stores around me no longer carry Valiant at all. I am quite sad to hear about Rai though, it was a exceptional title that deserved more recognition.GammaJosh wrote: ↑Wed Dec 02, 2020 8:53:02 pm Has there been any definitive word on if Rai is done? What do you mean by the comment “..... they have a new movie coming out and they are still getting their new headquarters finished.” What movie?

Re: Valiant Solicitations February 2021 and Beyond
Dan Mintz was running his mouth, trying to spread a (probably false) rumor that Valiant is making another movie because he is an artless hack and thinks it is a quick way to drum up some free publicity. Instead of, you know, publishing a third comic every month or hiring creators that will pretend to care about the comics they are writing.
The comics industry is made worse for Dan Mintz’ involvement in it. Any industry would be diminished for his involvement. What a chump.

Re: Valiant Solicitations February 2021 and Beyond
Ok, so Ramses818 was talking about the possibility of a Harbinger movie eventually starting production (which is probably just a rumor by Mintz). When he said something is “coming out” I was thinking post production (and was wondering what I had missed).

Re: Valiant Solicitations February 2021 and Beyond
The more credible rumor is Bloodshot 2, and the less credible, Harbinger. Both are being spread by Dan Mintz, who if you listen to him speak, you might wonder how he is successful at anything. I mean, truly. Successful at anything.
Re: Valiant Solicitations February 2021 and Beyond
I've been away for a bit. Is there any news on the Visitor? I think we are missing 5 and 6 to complete the miniseries. Was it canceled?

Re: Valiant Solicitations February 2021 and Beyond
I was mocking the Valiant people who have been saying this. Even their emails have been talking about it. It is such garbage and anyone would know it with just a cursory glance but they are so used to insulting their fans they don't mind. I just bring it up because they won't and keep saying that we are toxic fans. Sorry for the confusion because that's their job!

Re: Valiant Solicitations February 2021 and Beyond
Sadly no. With the 3 senior editors and a finished series you think we would get some info? Lol. You know how busy they are so all we can do is wait until they let us know.

Wow, that pile of garbage Bloodshot gets 12 issues yet Rai seemingly ends at 10
Hard pass on Shadowman, been stung too many times on that title. Gonna wait for some credible sources to review Savage before I shell out, but it’s looks trash.
Looks like I’ll have to look elsewhere to spend my money.

Re: Valiant Solicitations February 2021 and Beyond
DCBS has pre-orders open for comics shipping in February, but there's nothing on the Valiant tab right now. Usually, from what I can recall, all publishers are live at the same time.
If you're not a *SQUEE*, you're okay with me.

I doubt its the editors...unless there us a big disagreement with the writer or artist. This is on the publisher.

Isn't the Visitor written by that senior guy who was asked to write a Valiant story by Fred Pierce himself?
According to Comicvine.com there hasn't been any new comic material from writer Paul Levitz and artist MJ Kim since The Visitor #4.

Re: Valiant Solicitations February 2021 and Beyond
It isn't the editor fault or job, that was me being sarcastic and making light of the fact that they hired another senior editor while now getting any books out. Final Witness was finished a long time ago. Why it hasn't been released is a mystery unto itself. To be honest many many things DMG has done have been a mystery. The more you know the weirder it all gets. I Am a big fan of Paul Levitz so I have been waiting to see what the end of this story is.Jrosen wrote: ↑Fri Dec 11, 2020 6:34:55 amI doubt its the editors...unless there us a big disagreement with the writer or artist. Re: Valiant Solicitations February 2021 and Beyond
DCBS canceled my months-old order for the Savage 1-4 pre-order bundle a couple of days ago. Although Savage 1 is currently available for pre-order I don't see a bundle in the offering. Is it safe to assume there won't be a pre-order bundle for Savage? I wouldn't be surprised if Valiant is terminating the bundles in general. Fine with me; I can just order the cover I want each month.
