Me too! Now to figure out lodging... I'll need tips. It will be just me, so I'll be as cheap as possible.depluto wrote:Nice! Looking forward to meeting you because I GOT ALL FIVE DAYS!

Re: SDCC 2020
Nothing to do there for months. Early bird sales won't be until spring and will have the cheapest option; general hotel sale will probably be April or so. In those sales you can get a solid Mission Valley Hotel for about $200 a night or something downtown (if you are lucky) for about $300 a night.nycjadie wrote:Me too! Now to figure out lodging... Just plan on winning at Poker Night. Then the trip pays for itself!nycjadie wrote:An expensive week then!depluto wrote:Nothing to do there for months. Re: SDCC 2020
Starting to come up with a plan ... this year the entire family with some friends are coming, so I am thinking of doing a combo trip and spending a week in Montana and Wyoming and then flying down to San Diego from there. Probably Wednesday to Monday in SD and just get an early bird hotel out in Mission Valley. Apart from Yellowstone, what are the must-do items around Montana-Wyoming?

Montana is amazing. It truly is Big Sky. I don't know Wyoming super well, but Jackson Hole is great fun. My GF used to summer there her whole life. Great, great locations.depluto wrote:Starting to come up with a plan ... this year the entire family with some friends are coming, so I am thinking of doing a combo trip and spending a week in Montana and Wyoming and then flying down to San Diego from there. Re: SDCC 2020
Argh. Good news is they are giving the option of rolling over the badges to 2021. I'd hit that.
And good to see I am getting a full refund on my hotel. I was pretty sure that would happen, but it did say non-refundable when I paid.

It is sad but my life remains fairly unaffected by its absence.

Greg cheats at on-line poker anyway.
