Looks like Harbinger 1 is king of the hill. Movie speculation?

Historically, Harby #1 has been in the No. #1 spot with Rai #0 in close contention. The spots flipped in recent year as the Bloodshot movie drew closer; however, things appear to have returned to normal once again.
The big jump we see is X-O Manowar #1.

Thanks DBS! That HW2 metal comic is a conundrum.... but LaRosa’s cover art is sick!

Re: DBS’s “VEI Top 10” - June 2020
Thanks for doing this every month. I really look forward to when it is posted. I am sure it is a lot of work and I appreciate
it.
I was wondering if you could expand on the methodology of the ranking. Is it simply the total sales dollars of a VEI book in the last 90 days that you know about. (Only graded or raw as well?). What sources are the sales data pulled from? Ebay? GPA? GoCollect? Valiantfans.com sales?
I am curious what the all time top 10 most desired VEI books would be. As we know many books have no sales over a 90 day period as they are relatively rare (and I think there are more sales that take place privately than in publicly observable places for some of the most rare books).

9 and 10 are headscratchers for me. Must be a couple high sales that got them in.

I use Greg's data mixed with what other sales information I may be aware of. For example, Greg's data does not currently show Bloodshot #1 Carbon Fiber sales. However, we KNOW that it has sold, so I check the last 90 days of eBay sales for that specific book, add up the total, and see where it lands.magnus20009 wrote: Wed Jun 24, 2020 1:29 amI was wondering if you could expand on the methodology of the ranking. Additionally, there are times where I might sell 4-5 books privately, and know the total amount of those sales. Imperium #16 is a good example, as I sold multiple 9.8 copies one month which were not tracked by Greg's date, but occurred never the less and found a place on the list.
Right now is an odd time for Valiant books. COVID has dealt a blow to the market as many potential collectors have changed focus to other financial matters.
Sometimes a HUGE sale or two can move the needle and put a book on the board; while other times, slow/low sales can have the same effect.

This could be done, but I do not have the data to cover the past few years.magnus20009 wrote: Wed Jun 24, 2020 1:29 amI am curious what the all time top 10 most desired VEI books would be. I did look at Greg's data LAST YEAR, and saw that Divinity #1 (LaRosa 1:40) was the KING of VEI books by a decent margin at the time.
Could likely put a list together, though I am certain that 1-2 books would be "somewhat wrong."
