$825 for Harbinger 25
Why did Harbinger 25 Chan Variant 1:25 throwback variant go for $825.00? It is not even the rarest cover of this issue. Is it possible that two bidders mistook the throwback cover and thought they were bidding on a Harbinger 1 (two bidders as there was an underbidder obviously to drive the price up).

It is a cool cover and all but the price is massively higher than what most variants that rare sell for

I'd imagine they knew exactly what they were bidding on and both bidders wanted it badly.

$825 for Harbinger 25
I was the 3rd highest bidder, and I already have 2 9.6s (x1 CGC raw submission by me, x1 CBCS from jadesnsai) To say that I love this book would be an understatement. But 2 other bidders love it more! Although I have 2 9.6s, so maybe my multiples mean that, subjectively, I love it more, right? But perhaps the second-highest bidder wants to PM me for a significant discount on one of my 9.6s, eh?
I love this seller, BTW. It’s where I got my Unity 5 Suayan 9.8. They are one of the only sellers who are out there many weeks showing us that there is good money in high-ratio VEI variants on EBay. Something I have suspected all along, really. And I would often buy the best raw books from 2012 onward for years before the quality of that pipeline mostly dried up.

I bid $350 and was prepared with a $375 bid at the end; however, I got distracted by a game of Dead Ahead: Zombie Warfare on my iPhone.
I knew exactly what this issue is, and wanted it for my collection.
If folks feel that it is common and easy to find, please, shoot me a message and I’ll buy from you for a more appropriate price perhaps?

- Especially "dude." And "balls." Those terms work in the tech industry.

That is a massive price on that book. I would think mistaking it for a Harby 1 is possible.
Re: $825 for Harbinger 25
It's a rare and sought after book with only 2 9.8's. I personally would rather have it then a Harbinger 1 9.8.

Plenty of other books for that category (or only has 1 CGC 9.8) and don’t come anywhere close to that price. This must be a record for a 1:20, 1:25, 1:50 cover that is not a key first appearance (and maybe even then).wyospl wrote:It's a rare and sought after book with only 2 9.8's. Re: $825 for Harbinger 25
Question is who has the second copy of this in 9.8 .... and why wouldn’t you sell that for a cool $800+?
