Dark Dominion 1 uncut and unstapled

I have discovered the existence of a Dark Dominion 1 uncut and unstapled copy. It will soon exist in my residence. This has to be (relatively) far rarer than the unstapled Plasm 0.

That's pretty awesome. I was aware of the Plasm 0 but had no idea there was an unstapled Dark Dominion out there. I would definitely love to have that one over the Plasm. Congrats!

Thanks Michal! As far as I’m concerned, it’s the only uncut and unstapled Dark Dominion 1 known to exist!

Is it a "make-ready"? Most comics have one or two for pre-production double-checking, but they tend to get thrown out.

Yeah. This is the only Defiant one I’ve seen survive other than the Plasm 0s, with this one being obviously far rarer.

That is pretty cool. Millions of copies of Superman #75, but there probably aren't many uncut make-ready copies. It was a major media event, though, so there might be a few of those.

It looks like Malibu Ultraverse made some of these types of books for Prime #1 calling them "printer's proofs".

A few original 1990s Valiant printer's proofs have been seen.

I have a couple printers proofs for Valiant issues. One is a Mirage, and I can’t recall the other one. I have a couple VEI as well for the early issues, like the X-O one above.

I love printer proofs. Congrats on this one. I've got some myself, mainly Valiants (including a nice deal rather recently here on the boards), but also three Defiants (Plasm 0, Plasm 2 and Splatterball).

Thanks magnusr! I love them as well. I was unaware a Warriors of Plasm 2 and a Splatterball uncut proof survived. That’s so cool!

That's really neat thank you for sharing.
It looks like almost all of the 50 one staple plasm zero books are accounted for now. I've been trying to keep track.
There was only 100 of those unstamped splatter ball issues. Somebody must have a stack of them because you don't see them for sale very often so they've got to be tucked away somewhere.
