I read one of those for Star Wars III, and it was quite solid. The final fight was better in the book, as it really let you look at Anakin's rage, and exactly what he was feeling. Added to the movie.

I've read a ton of novelization and 100% agree. Oftentimes the books provide added depth and insight into the story which doesn't make the cut in the film. I know with the Star Wars books there's even additional scenes not featured in the film too. I'm not familiar with the author but will def be picking this up

This novel thing is neat - it lends credibility to the "Summer fun sci-fi hype movie".
I remember when this was done with The Temple of Doom - the novel had waxy picture pages in the middle of the book with stills from the movie. And then they did this with Iron Man and that book had several little nuggets that didn't make it into the flick.

It's cool that Bloodshot is joining the ranks of legit flicks with marketing and apocrypha. Now all we need is a G.I. Joe 25th Anniversary-style 3 3/4" action figure line and I'd suddenly be all-in.
