Steve,
It doesn't really matter to me, but you'll probably open a big can of worms with this. Oh and the Turok set was not VcVSS.
I sold it as "Signature Series Card and Limited Edition Print Set featuring TUROK". Yeah I know it's a long title.

Later,

Re: VcVSS's For Sale---This Time They Are Going!
Sorry I mislabeled your Print Set project, Dan! I don't think me 'selling out' will cause any problems. No one will know who got what or what was paid, unless any of the new owners of these items want to make it public knowledge. All of these will sell for whatever the highest bid is, so they could all actually be sold for less than what I paid for them, if there's little interest. And what's the harm in that?sonicdan wrote:Vault-Keeper wrote:I will be taking PM or email offers for the following items for two days. From the PM's I've received, this arrangement isn't going to work. I've decided to list everything except the Bloodshot print on ebay. I am sending back both prints to Dawgphan for the original $25 I sent him. The other items will be listed for three days, & start out at the price I paid for them. This should be fair to everyone interested.

I am pretty sure I saw you list these for sale before for several hundred each. I guess those sales didn't go through after all.Vault-Keeper wrote:I will be taking PM or email offers for the following items for two days. At least you're doing the right thing by returning Dawg the print he asked you to return awhile back. Better late than never, I guess, to do the right thing and correct a mistake that was made rather than acting like a jerk about it.Vault-Keeper wrote:From the PM's I've received, this arrangement isn't going to work. And, I don't have a problem with your making back what you paid for the VcVSS items that you bought with your own hard-earned cash, up to the purchase price or even up to the extent you paid more than the initial offering price on the secondary market.
It just doesn't sit well with me personally when I see people flipping fan-created projects that were done by members of our little web-based community for the sole purpose of offering something a little special to hard-core Valiant fans. Your profiteering goes against the spirit in which the projects were undertaken and distributed.

It does seem... strange that this was a board auction for a while, then got canned and items are now listed on eBay.
I am not saying anything else but that, any/everybody.

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

I don't feel so bad that you did not get a copy of the Shadowman VcVSS now. For all the complaining that you did it ended up in the hands of a noob who has held onto it longer than you would have.
I hope that these books help to ease what you are going through but that it's sad to see them go up like this. Should we assume that you will be selling the Ninjak #1 VcVSS as soon as it hits your door? If so Chris should move the book onto the next person in line if there is one or simply put it up for auction himself.

I think that Steve already backed out of the Ninjak project. No big deal.dellamorte wrote:I don't feel so bad that you did not get a copy of the Shadowman VcVSS now. For all the complaining that you did it ended up in the hands of a noob who has held onto it longer than you would have.
