I think that the "Wisdom of the Crowd" is a very interesting phenomenon, which probably had little to do with the outcome of the auction... except that pointing it out after the fact is fun.

Yeah, probably not a peak time to sell, but I think people still long on Valiant will be happy with some of the books they are picking up right now. Seeing some really hard to find books, going for nice prices. If Valiant makes a comeback, or someday gets to the big boy table, these prices will seem golden!

I think that the "Wisdom of the Crowd" is a very interesting phenomenon, which probably had little to do with the outcome of the auction... except that pointing it out after the fact is fun.

Would be fun to see if the Wisdom of the Crowd had said $500 or $2000, I wonder if bids would have gravitated to those amounts. I personally know a few people that were bidding in this auction, but also bidding on this game, and one big buyer that missed this auction a day too late Nice catch though, Greg! Cool phenomenon.

I had a good time and I hope everyone else did too.
