WTB: Harbinger 7 Lupacchino Variant (High Grade)
Does anyone have a high grade copy of Harbinger 7 (Lupacchino variant) they would like to sell? I am looking for a 9.8 candidate. I am submitting a batch of books soon and the copy in my collection has a couple of slight spine dings that I don't think will help its grade. On that note, if you have a CGC 9.8 copy you would like to sell, I might be your guy (price pending). Thanks.

Yeah you really don't want to know how much I would want for my 9.8. I would be embarrassed to tell you. But good luck, and if you find one be sure to tell me how much you paid!

I figured the first response would be about how difficult it would be to obtain. You can't blame a guy for trying.ckb wrote:Yeah you really don't want to know how much I would want for my 9.8. Its one of my all time favorite covers...
There are currently only 5 CGC 9.8's and 1 SS CGC 9.8.
So who has the other 4?

I realize you don't need a bunch of "not me" answers for the slabs, so I'll just give you one. Not me.Ricomortis wrote:9.8 owners are...

Hell, I'd love a good ole 9.6 (4 of those) or one of the 2 SS 9.4's.

No worries, it's not going anywhere unless someone really really wants it. It's one of those books that would somehow go "missing" if I had a financial disaster and needed to liquidate. Yes and thank you for selling it to me a few years ago!

Re: WTB: Harbinger 7 Lupacchino Variant (High Grade)
I have a raw of this in very good condition, no spine cracks visible or creases, and it was never opened for a reading- I was buying variants at the time and carefully B&B this one as soon as I got home. I only take it to look at its cover, honest, not the first time I mentioned it here. Its an incredible looking cover, and seeing it on a comp screen does not make it justice at all.
I think this would be a solid 9.0, perhaps higher, from what I can tell, you guys think it would be worth the slabbing, given that I live in Europe? Its just that there are so few of these books and my copy is actually in great condition.
And its Flamingo, its kind of an holy book for Dysart's Harbinger fans.

There's this CGC 9.6 on eBay but the jackhole who listed it wants way too much

I'm fairly certain I sold mine to Greg and it was a pretty solid copy if I remember correctly. Totally regretting it now.

Well, I don't remember that... so I'm not sure if I should be excited that I have a solid copy somewhere or regret that it was a different Greg.vooch311 wrote:I'm fairly certain I sold mine to Greg and it was a pretty solid copy if I remember correctly. Totally regretting it now.![]()

Lol it must have been someone impersonating you then. I sold it on ebay btw, and the person who bought it said they were you, I swears! It was probably me, then, probably 2013, and probably a good sign that my plan to buy books and forget them so that my own boxes are full of surprises someday is probably working.vooch311 wrote:Lol it must have been someone impersonating you then.
