What exactly is this cover for?

My understanding is that make readies are printer previews that are sent to the publisher for final review and revision prior to the actual printing of the comics themselves.

A group of us went to VEI's offices as part of the NYCC back in 2012 and we were given make readies for X-O Manowar issue 1, two covers and the interiors. I was also given this make ready for the cover only to XO issue 2. From the other thread discussing these items, it appears that other make readies were given out for XO 1, some just the interiors and no covers, but I'm not sure how many were given out, and I have no information on how many XO 2 cover make readies were distributed.

It's an interesting and scarce piece and there likely hasn't been another one sold on these boards prior to this one - although I didn't search and make sure of that assertion.
