So I know Valiant did a run of pins in the 90s. And some are Gold. I was curious how many were gold and how did one get the gold? looking to know some Valiant history I Don't know yet

Re: Classic Pin question
The rough outline is this:
"Planet" did the original pins and they were marketed right in the Diamond catalog. The earliest pins had a cardboard backer with a checklist.
There were a few additional sets from planet. Eventually even Acclaim made some pins.
The gold pins are a bit of a mystery. Gold pins are: Shadowman Icon, Solar Icon, Ninjak "N", Eternal Warrior fist.
