Shadowman/Rae Sremmurd Preview!
The art on this is freaking amazing! I actually like a couple songs these guys do, but this still seems weird. Nice to see Dr Mirage popping up here too!

- I'm just glad it was pretty good, long and drawn out. (that's what she said.)

Is it just me or does the art seem make a nod to the acclaim run while heavily kicking it up in gear?
I'm actually really interested to see this issue now

It's not that I don't have an avatar... I've just been working on it for the last few hundred years.

Looks like Divinity #0 to me... the story feels like Shadowman #19 (1993).Aram wrote:Is it just me or does the art seem make a nod to the acclaim run while heavily kicking it up in gear?

I read the Shadowman by Garth Ennis and Ashley Wood trade a couple of months back, and that was the first thing that came to mind for me.Aram wrote:Is it just me or does the art seem make a nod to the acclaim run while heavily kicking it up in gear?

Re: Shadowman/Rae Sremmurd Preview!
Outside of the RDLT work, this is the best looking Shadowman book yet in the VEIverse, IMHO.
Sadly, the story premise is as bleh as I'd think. Hope this will turn some heads for Valiant, but I gotta say, I don't see this move's "smartness" yet.
If it sells 5,000 copies more than the last Shadowman issue, I'll never give my 2 cents here.

That's gorgeous. The concept puzzles me but I can't wait to see it.

The art does look good.
Believe it or not, Rae Sremmurd was a Jeopardy answer the other night. It was the teen/college tournament, but still. They might be more well known than I realized (sorry, I don't count YouTube views as a mark of public recognition...my students will literally watch the same videos hundreds of times...skewed data).
