ASM 10 (1963) variant? Help!
Anyone have any info on this book:
http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Amazing_Sp ... n_Vol_1_10" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I had never heard of it before today and I'm trying to buy it but have no idea where to start price wise

Re: ASM 10 (1963) variant? Help!
I doubt the variant exists. Yes, I'm sure there was an unused cover that has been reprinted in some form, probably in a compilation book or trade, but a single issue variant from 1964 doesn't sound legit.
I would be willing to bet some fan-made version might exist, for an unsuspecting buyer.

I've got a photo of it... it looks to be in decent shape and I thought it was some kind of reprint until I saw that page. I requested more photos of it including the interior with the edition information, date etc.

I would say there's a 0.01% chance that a variant exists that has eluded collectors for 50+ years. Anyone can edit the Marvel wikia page. The official Marvel.com site doesn't have it.

So, i found my answer.
It's actually the back cover to the the "Official Marvel Index to the Amazing Spider-Man #2"
Pretty shady trying to sell it with that photo....

I'm just glad the answer was not "I paid $XXX, but it was worthless."WallyWest78 wrote:So, i found my answer.

It is shown as the 'rejected cover' on this page: http://www.dialbforblog.com/archives/679/index2.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Probably an unauthorized poster (alternate colors): http://www.allposters.com/-sp/Amazing-S ... 55366_.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
