Not sure if I would have restored it. I'm more on the original is best side as long as cover looks reasonably good. Probably makes more $ restored though.

With that kind of grade, talking about that kind of money, I'd leave it alone. 9.0 and $615K.... Nope, couldn't get me to change the banner. Probably is required to go through re-grading, and what if it came back to you graded lower? I'd be interested to delve into whether this book might have been graded by CGC, and then graded later at CBCS. Seems like a book that is likely to be purchased graded unless it's been owned by someone for some time.
Also CBCS graded this as a 9.0 restored, with notices that pieces were added. I wonder if CGC would have graded it the same.
