Out of 20ish copies at the LCS I found 1 variant with the code.
Egad, a base tone denotes a bad age!

Re: Extra Secret Secret Weapons
I have had a busy day... for those who cracked the code, is there a limited offer (1st ### to sign up) that I need to hurry up and solve, or can I go to bed and solve it later?

Answering my own question... I heard that there's no rush, so I'm passing the word along.

Re: Extra Secret Secret Weapons
For those that have figured it out, and posted that they figured it out. Why not post what it says for those of us who hadn't (had the time) figured it out yet?
I mean, it was meant for the fans to figure out, so why not tell it.
I'm more disappointed that no one is talking about issue #1 (great 1st issue, 4.5/5) in the published issue section. No one.

Re: Extra Secret Secret Weapons
Because part of the enjoyment in figuring it out is the process of figuring it out. Also, I'm pretty sure Valiant wants people to figure it out on their own.agent_graves wrote:For those that have figured it out, and posted that they figured it out. Would be nice if they also put the encrypted code in the bonus material of the pre-order edition. Otherwise, there'll be no riddle for me....

I get that, the enjoyment one gets from figuring it out, and also sharing that information with the ValiantFans.com community.jeremycoe wrote:Because part of the enjoyment in figuring it out is the process of figuring it out. Re: Extra Secret Secret Weapons
I don't even have an opportunity to try and find out what the code means, because I can't get my hands on one of those issues. My LCS is in a small town and they only had my one pre-order edition, and one regular cover edition, which wasn't one with secret stuff in it. So I'm stuck wondering until somebody on the internet does spill the beans, because I'm not driving an hour up to the next nearest comic store.agent_graves wrote:I get that, the enjoyment one gets from figuring it out, and also sharing that information with the ValiantFans.com community.jeremycoe wrote:Because part of the enjoyment in figuring it out is the process of figuring it out. I was missing one letter as well. At that point the easy solution is just to try all possibilities.nonplayer wrote:I was up till 11:00 worked on this puzzle for hrs and hrs.

Re: Extra Secret Secret Weapons
Enough clues have been posted online if you want to find it. (I don't have the physical issue in my possession, although I hope one is in my mail order)Sunlight on Snow wrote:Would be nice if they also put the encrypted code in the bonus material of the pre-order edition. Re: Extra Secret Secret Weapons
There's a reddit thread with all the images which allows one to crack the code without having the physical book.
I didn't include the link in case the spoilers offended anyone but a quick search will get you there.
