Mine is serial number 299/300. I'm not sure if that is desirable or not. That is where they are saying to themselves, "let's finish as good as we started here", and really go the extra effort maybe.

You might actually be right about that

, but I'm looking for a couple of very specific serial number (#1 and/or #5), so that won't get it for me personally.
